Akuaba Limited is a Ghanaian private company established in 1971 and incorporated as a limited liability Company in 1974. The ownership of the Company is 100% Ghanaian. In the beginning the Company engaged in the manufacture for local sale and export, wooden toys, educational equipment and furniture in finished and knocked down form.

In 1985 the Company diversified into furniture manufacturing and has been producing high quality furniture for organisations, institutions and private homes.
Over the past eight years, the Company has introduced a range of conventional furniture including garden furniture, living room suites, kitchens, bedroom furniture, etc. The company also sells manufactured products for the building industry including roof trusses, doors, door and window frames, tongued and grooved boarding and modular kitchens as well as sawn and dimensioned lumber.
